29 Days.......

29 Days.Org I heard about this from my friend Vicky. I love hearing about the results Cami experienced and thought it might be something I would try. I believe I am up to doing this, 29 gifts in 29 days. It changed Cami, and through giving even the smallest of things she was able to find peace, joy, some relief from her illness, it also changed her perspective on life.

Why not join me during this season known for celebrating and giving to experience the joy in touching someones life. Although my family has had to cut back and give up we still have so much we can share. I just love the thought that it might make a difference in some way for someone, including myself.

Today I gave the gift of time. I spent extra time with an elderly lady. She lives alone. Her husband has been gone for several years and has no children of her own. This could be my future.
Before I left she said give me a hug. As if I would of left without giving her one. I gave her a good squish. Human touch is so theraputic. She is such a sweetie.
it is true there is more happiness in giving....have fun with yours!

Yes, there is definitely more happiness for me in giving. What a wonderful unselfish giveaway,
Deb. I am always in awe of your ability to commit to so much of your time! Hugs, Nance

Debra~ I'm strolling in to catch up and especially to wish you and your loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving!
It's such a wonderful time to stop and reflect on all those we cherish and are truly grateful for.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to visit and leave feeling inspired!

Even though our Thanksgiving is very small in number, with hubby and son (we don't count the cat cause she doesn't like turkey). We don't scrimp on the menu...from appetizers to desserts with several carb loaded dishes in between! We will be enjoying tryptophan playoffs too!

Sweet Holiday wishes,
Sara
